Location

Carol Davila University is located in "Eroilor" area of Bucharest, in walking range dinstance from Eroilor Metro Station; it is very close to Cotroceni Presidential Palace.
Biophysics Dept. building is located behind the main building of Carol Davila University, next to "Carol Davila" Publishing House.

Public transportation:

From the Main train station ( GARA DE NORD) by bus (RATB)

• Electric bus Nr. 96 to "Eroilor" station (next to University's Hospital).

Subway ( also known as "Metrou")

• General Medicine Faculty is very close to "Eroilor" Subway station; use the exit flow labelled "Spitalul Universitar Bucuresti" (University's Hospital)

From the OTOPENI International Airport:

• The airport is located North to the city; unfortunately there is no direct subway / railway connection to the city yet. You may reach the city by bus or with a cab.
• BUS
  • Express Bus Nr. 783, from the airport to "Piata Romana" station, and from there you change and take buses 368, 226, 168 towards "Eroilor" station
  • Express Bus Nr. 780, from the airport to Main train station ("Gara de Nord"); you change to electric bus 96 or wiht the subway (take direct line towards "Republica" and get out at "Eroilor" station)

From the Baneasa International Airport:

• This airport is located also in the North and it has the same connections with the city center as OTOPENI, but is closer to the city.
